Your 2024 Gala Crew:
A HUGE thank you to the amazing Gala Crew. It takes a tremendous amount of effort to make a gala happen and this crew was up for the challenge: Sandy & Aaron, Dina & Mike, Jessica, Anna, Julia, Meghan, Megan, and Kristen. This year was so different having 6 returning gala crew members!

GFS Alumni who attended our event and donated money and items for us to auction off. Their continued support is testament to what a special place GFS holds in their hearts.

Sandy & Aaron for hosting most of the crew meetings and providing us with snacks, supplies, paper, printing and storage.

Bree, Jean  Lellani, and Rachel for leading all the incredible class art projects for the live auction.

 

Julia for organizing a $250 cash donation from D&D Painting, for creating our Galactic Gala logo, and putting together the first all-school art project. And thanks to Phil for all his help at set up day even though he is not on our crew. 

 

Gabby & Stevie for coordinating the perfect venue at the Rancho Embarcadero Community Center. Having a free place for our Gala is huge! And thank you to Gabby for all the event desserts.

 

Muniba for soliciting 25 donations on her own!! And not only did she contact the local businesses, she also picked up the donations, and dropped them off to the gala committee. Incredible! 

Dan for creating the 8 beautiful succulent centerpieces at each table.

Christina for getting all our non-alcoholic drinks, paper goods, and drink dispensers.

Bartenders: Chris, Aaron, Phil and Enrique. They created the special drink menu for our theme. And to Mike for helping coordinate ice and driving to Buellton to pick up the beer donations from Firestone Brewery & Institution Ale. The bar was quite the happening place all night and the drinks were so fun.

Teacher Iain for being the best emcee we could hope for 2 years running!

Volunteers, GFS Alumni, Linnea and her friend Holden, for registering guests, selling raffle tickets, & helping the banker, Simcha.  
Marina Murad (friend of crew member, Jessica) who donated her design services to design the program and drink menus: . 

 

PIP Printing (Parent /Owner Ani) for printing our beautiful programs & bar menu on short notice.
